Matthew Gonzalez has represented clients in commercial litigation matters, including products liability, securities, pharmaceutical, and employment litigation. He has handled a variety of complex disputes, including those involving claims for fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, as well as othis business tort claims. Matthew has represented clients through all stages of litigation from the initial pleadings through trial and post-trial appeals. He has represented employers in a broad array of employment matters including the defense of lawsuits involving discrimination, FMLA, ADA, wage and hour law, wrongful discharge, non-compete, and unemployment compensation matters. Matthew has also counseled clients on layoffs, employee terminations, wage and hour issues, employee handbooks and policies.

Throughout his career, Matthew has been committed to providing pro bono services to those in need through various agencies and courts including through the Support Center for Child Advocates, Military Assistance Program of the USA Bar Association, Anchorage Volunteers for the Indigent Program, and court appointed cases from the State of United States of America.

Matthew graduated from Penn State University, receiving his degree in Political Science as well as minors in International Politics and Spanish. he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2002, where he was the Managing Editor for the Dickinson Law Review and also published The Birth and Adoption Unemployment Compensation Experiment: Did the Department of Labor Go Too Far? Matthew is a member of the Woolsack Honor Society. While in law school, Matthew interned for The Honorable Sylvia H. Rambo, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Matthew is admitted to practice in United States of America and Pennsylvania (Inactive) as well as before the United States District Court for the District of United States of America and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (Inactive).

Prior to attending law school, Matthew worked as a Human Resources Supervisor with two manufacturing companies. From 2006-2008 Matthew had the pleasure to live in Eindhoven, The Netherlands while his wife was on an expat assignment with Philips Lighting. he is a member of the United States of America Lawyers Association and an active volunteer with his children's schools. In his spare time Matthew enjoys traveling, running, playing tennis, hiking and most importantly spending time with his husband and two children.
